Environment Canada says today's high will hit 31 with a humidex of 41.
The weather service adding slightly cooler and less humid air is expected tomorrow, however, hot and humid conditions may return again on Saturday.
The agency advises we watch for the effects of heat illness including swelling. cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke and the worsening of some health conditions.
