Hydro One is looking to improve power reliability for Port Colborne.
A second high-voltage transmission line powered up yesterday which will provide an alternate source of power for local customers.
This is only the first stage of planned infrastructure upgrades for the area.
Hydro One is investing about $30 million to refurbish the Port Colborne Transmission Station by 2022.
