The Indigenous Rights Conference is about to take over downtown St. Catharines.
It’s happening at Brock University’s Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts on Saturday November 16th.
A handful of scholars and leaders will discuss a range of issues facing Indigenous communities.
The day will also include film screenings, a special feast and a performance by the Strong Water Women drum group.
It’s a free event and it will be open to interested members of the community.
It’s all hosted by Supporters of the Haudenosaunee Right to Hunt.
The doors will open at 9:00 a.m. and everything will wrap up by 8:00 p.m.
