NIAGARA - It's a great opportunity for aspiring young police officers in Niagara.
Niagara Regional Police (NRP) is launching its Youth Academy, which will give local students in Grade 7 and Grade 8 a behind the scenes look at policing in the region.
The eight week program will cover a variety of police roles ranging from forensics to traffic safety, all through demonstrations, presentations and scenario based activities.
The starts on Wednesdays in September and you can find more information, including the application form, online here.
