The unemployment rate dropped in Niagara, across Ontario and nationwide.
Statistics Canada says the national rate was 5.6 percent last month. It was sitting at 5.9 percent in November.
Ontario's rate came in at 5.3 percent, compared to the 5.6 percent reported the month before.
The rate dropped to 4.9 percent in Niagara. It was 5.4 back in November.
