Police were called to the single vehicle crash in Wainfleet yesterday afternoon, witnesses say it was speeding
Police are looking into what happened after a woman was killed in a single vehicle crash in Wainfleet.
They were called late yesterday afternoon to the crash on Burnaby Road, between Highway 3 and Lakeshore Road, where they found a heavily damaged Kia Sportage, on its roof, in the ditch, with two people trapped inside.
Police say witnesses saw the Kia heading northbound at a high rate of speed, when the driver lost control, no other vehicles were involved.
The driver, a 67-year old Wainfleet man, is in serious condition, but the 67-year old Wainfleet woman died at the scene.
