The Lakeside Park Parking lot is re-opening earlier than expected.
It was originally slated to be closed from May 10th to the 21st for resurfacing.
However, due to warmer weather, the resurfacing is now complete and the lot is now re-opened.
The parking lot at Lakeside Park will close to vehicular traffic for resurfacing later this month.
The resurfacing will take place between May 10th to 21st.
The reconstruction work of the west pier in Port Dalhousie is almost finished, so the contractor is working to fix minor deficiencies, including restoring the parking lot, before the project is complete.
Pedestrian traffic to Lakeside Park will be allowed.
Alternative parking will be allowed at the following places.
- The Port Dalhousie Older Adult Centre
- Rennie Park
- Jaycee Park
- Port Dalhousie Lions Club
- 34 Lighthouse Road
