Leafs to Begin Playoff Series Against Tampa Bay Tonight

Toronto Maple Leafs haven't won a Stanley Cup since 1967.

The Toronto Maple Leafs will begin their quest for the Cup tonight.

The Leafs will host the Tampa Bay Lightning for game one of their best of seven series.

The Lightning are the reigning Stanley Cup champions after winning the Cup two years in a row.

While the Leafs haven't won a playoff series since 2004, the team set a franchise record of 115 points during the regular season.

As well, Leafs centre Auston Matthews won his second straight Maurice "Rocket" Richard trophy after scoring 60 goals this season.
