Local Author Erno Rossi Passes Away at 84

His obituary advises us, beware of snowflakes!

Port Colborne native, Erno Rossi who wrote, White Death-The Blizzard of '77 and Crystal Beach-The Good Old Days passed away Tuesday.

According to his obituary, in 2012, Erno spearheaded the Friends of the Port Colborne Lighthouses, a non-profit group of dedicated volunteers to save the local lighthouses from destruction.

A private family burial will be held at a later date at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens

His obituary ends with the warning, "Beware of snowflakes!" .
