It took about a year of construction, but the new Reece Bridge is now up and running.
Officials from the Niagara Region and West Lincoln got together to celebrate it's opening yesterday.
The bridge located on Regional Road 69, right by Campden Road.
The old structure was deteriorating and had poor alignment, so the Region set aside $8.3-million to replace it.
Construction started in October 2018. It was supposed to wrap up in spring 2020, but crews finished the work ahead of schedule last month.
The project was also completed on budget.
