Police investigating number of thefts
Another reminder from Niagara regional police of the importance of locking your vehicle when leaving it, and removing valuables from site.
Officers are looking into a number of thefts from vehicles, as well as stolen vehicles, but also property damage, and fraud happening overnight in more rural areas of the region.
Police specify its happening in Grimsby, West Lincoln, Lincoln, Pelham, Wainfleet and Niagara on the Lake, between 1 and 4am, since February 13th.
The suspects appear to go after neighbourhoods, check to see if a vehicle is unlocked, and if so, steal valuables, and in some cases, the vehicle.
