Delays for double-dosed Americans trying to get into Niagara via land borders.
For the first time in more than a year, cars trying to enter the country through Niagara's border crossings are experiencing delays.
As of 2:30 this afternoon, travelers using the Rainbow Bridge can expect to wait nearly an hour.
Traffic at the Peace Bridge is delayed by about 12 minutes.
However, earlier delays at the Queenston Lewiston Bridge have cleared up.
Fully vaccinated American travelers are now allowed to cross Canada's border crossings, as long as they have proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within the last three days.
However, Canadian travelers hoping to go to the U.S. can only get there by air, rail or sea.
Up to the minute traffic information at Niagara's border crossings is available here.
