Just two days after resigning his seat on Niagara Falls City Council, Wayne Campbell has passed away.
The 78 year old has been battling prostate cancer since 2022.
Campbell’s daughter announced the news earlier today on her Facebook page. Leigh Campbell saying her Dad passed away this morning with the love of his life Helga by his side. The two have been together for 60 years.
Campbell entered politics in the 1980’s and served on council for 28 years.
A memorial service to celebrate his life is being planned for a future date.
