A lost badge has been returned to Niagara Regional Police.
A detective with the NRP dropped his wallet with his badge inside in a parking lot on Thursday afternoon.
It happened at the Walmart on Welland Avenue in St. Catharines.
The wallet was returned first, but the badge wasn't given by to police until yesterday.
Police were asking for the badge's return after getting video surveillance of a woman grabbing the badge and taking off.
