A man is in hospital with life threatening injuries following an incident in Welland this weekend.
Around 6:30 last night, police were called to the area of Alberta Street and Ontario Road.
Detectives determined that the 28 year old victim had reportedly been assaulted by two men with a crowbar.
The victim fell on the street and was struck by a black Chevrolet pickup truck being driven by a 69 year old man.
The first suspect is described as a white male about 45 years old wearing a tan coloured coat.
He is believed to be around 6'4" and 240 pounds.
The second suspect is described as a white male around 25 years old wearing a purple and white hoodie.
He is around 5'9".
Police believe this was a targeted attack.
