Man Charged in Port Weller Community Centre Break In

Police have recovered several items that were reported stolen from the Port Weller Community Centre.

Someone stole mobility chairs and fitness equipment from an onsite storage container in late February.

Tips from the public lead officers to a home in the Parnell Road and Vine Street area.

Officers executed a search warrant on Monday and they arrested 43-year-old man.

He has been charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of cocaine and failing to comply with probation.
