Police called to break up fight between 2 men
A fight between two men has lead to charges and one of them recovering from stab wounds.
Niagara Regional police say late Friday afternoon they were called to a house in the Ker Street and Drummond Road area of Niagara Falls, to find a verbal argument had lead to a fight. One was sent to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Police tell us they've charged 39-year old Burke Pembleton of Niagara Falls with assault with a weapon and failure to comply with probation. He was released with a January court date.
48-year old John Hicks of Niagara Falls was charged with aggravated assault. He remains in custody with a bail hearing today.
Police add they're asking for anyone with information to call them.
