UPDATE: The 35-year-old man has turned himself in to the NRP.
Police found him at a home on Church's Lane last night, close to Portage Road.
He surrendered without incident and his bail hearing will take place today.
A 35-year-old man is wanted by the NRP following a serious assault in Niagara Falls.
Police believe he assaulted a woman in the Ferguson Ave and Hickson Ave area early yesterday morning.
Another man jumped in to help the woman and the suspect allegedly beat him with a metal pipe and took off in a car afterwards.
The woman sustained minor injuries and the man remains in critical condition in an out-of-Region hospital.
The 35-year-old is now wanted for assault and aggravated assault.
He's white, about 5'11 with a medium build and brown eyes, hair and facial hair.
He also has tattoos including a Blue Jays themed right arm sleeve.
