Police were called to a head on collision this morning in Niagara Falls, one person dead
One person is dead after a 2-vehicle crash this morning in Niagara Falls, and police believe the cause may have been a medical issue.
Emergency crews were called just before 7 to the scene on Portage Road, near Stanley, to find there was a head on collision.
They found one driver without vital signs, and despite trying, they could not revive.
The other driver suffered non life-threatening injuries, and was taken to hospital.
Early investigation indicates the driver who died suffered a medical episode while driving.
