The iron worker who died in last weeks construction site accident in Welland, was a 44-year-old father from Windsor.
Curtis Appleyard was hit when a piece of construction material fell on Tuesday November 12th, at a site in the King Street and Second Street area.
He died after he was taken to hospital.
A GoFundMe page has raised more than $14,000 for a memorial fund in his name as of this afternoon.
