Police say the machine was stolen in Wainfleet
Two men from Port Colborne are facing charges after an ATV was stolen in Wainfleet over the weekend.
Police were called around 7, Saturday morning, to the Quarry and Lakeshore Road area, concerning a suspicious person.
They found the suspect to be in possession of a stolen ATV, which had run out of gas, and, there was an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
While he was arrested, another man was arrested nearby who was returning with gas.
Police say 48-year old Robert Adams is charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000, and failure to appear for fingerprints. 40-year old Patrick Smith is also charged with possession of stolen property under $5,000.
They were both released with future court dates.
The ATV was returned to the owner.
