See pictures here of suspects NRP consider armed and dangerous
A warning from Niagara Regional police to watch for four men they consider armed and dangerous who robbed two jewelry stores at the Pen Centre.
Police say they were wearing masks when they entered the mall just before 9 last night. Two of them targeted Griffin Jewellers, the other two hit Kavar Jewellers.
The suspects at the Griffin store smashed the glass cases with a hammer, stole jewelry, and ran.
At the same time, at Kavar, the suspects demanded some money, assaulted an employee, but ran off empty handed after chased off by a bystander.
Police add the two suspects at the Griffin store appeared to be wearing "Bape" hooded sweatshirts, as per the pattern and graphics on the hood.
There were no injuries.
Police say the four ran to the exit closest to Sport-Check/Fit4Less, and took off in a stolen 2022 grey Honda CRV.
That car was reported stolen from the Toronto area the day before, and was found abandoned around 4:30 this morning in Toronto.
Police say two of the suspects are 18-28 years old, with dark skin tone. Another one is also same age range, but white. Police cannot give a description of the 4th.
