Welland’s mayor is thanking essential service workers for helping us get the things we need.
Frank Campion says he feels for all the non-essential services that have had to close their doors during the pandemic and for all the laid off workers.
Campion is thanking all the residents in the Rose City who are doing their part and staying home as much as possible and practicing social distancing.
He’s telling the small few who aren’t following the rules to get with it and do the right thing now to stop the spread of the virus.
Welland has closed all of its facilities until the end of June.
