It was a price that no one could turn down.
Hundreds of people showed up to get 50-cent hamburgers in St. Catharines on Saturday
After significant renovations, the McDonald's re-opened on Ontario Street, just in time to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
The restaurant offered up three-dollar Big Macs and McChicken sandwiches on Friday.
Then on Saturday, hamburgers were just 50-cents for two hours.
Construction has completely wrapped up at the location, with some exterior renovations planned for the spring.
