Ontario is embarking on an inspection blitz tomorrow, focusing on big box store, salons, bars, and other similar businesses.
The province will kick off an inspection blitz tomorrow to make sure businesses are following COVID-19 health measures.
The Ministry of Labour says across Ontario, 150 provincial offences officers will hit big box stores, bars, salons and other such settings, to make sure they're following rules like checking for vaccine certificates.
The ministry says and "education first" approach will be taken, but fines will be issued for repeat offenders and any business willfully violating their rules.
This comes as Ontario continues to battle the highly contagious Omicron variant.
