It's a holiday tradition in the Garden City, helping those in need during the cold winter months.
The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre will kick off it's Mitten Tree campaign on Saturday November 30th.
You'll be able to donate new or gently used mitts, hats, scarves and other winter-wear items over the holiday season.
All of the donations will go to Community Care of St. Catharines and Thorold or Start Me Up Niagara's Out of the Cold program.
A kick off event will be taking place at the museum; with lots of family friendly activities, hot chocolate and visit from Santa.
All of the fun will get underway at 10:00 a.m. and it should wrap up by 3:00 p.m.
The campaign will end on Saturday January 4th.
