Plenty of complaints and grumblings yesterday from those 50 plus who were unable to book an appointment
Niagara Public Health announcing all appointments for booster shots are fully booked in the region.
In a tweet, the health unit says to meet the demand, additional appointments will be added over the next few days.
Yesterday was the first day people aged 50 plus who received a second COVID vaccine 6 months ago became eligible for a third dose.
On Sunday, Niagara's Acting Medical Officer of Health tweeted out, "With low numbers of children booked into clinics over the next few days, we've started shifting appointments over to adults for 1st/2nd/booster doses. As the week progresses, we'll continue shifting vacant appointments from children to adults."
