The Niagara Catholic District School Board is reporting more COVID-19 cases.
An outbreak has been declared at Loretto Catholic Elementary School in Niagara Falls, after a fourth person tested positive for the virus.
This individual is part of a group that is currently in self-isolation, and there is no further risk of transmission within the school.
The Board is also confirming three new cases at St. Alfred Catholic Elementary School and one case at St. Denis Catholic Elementary School, both in St. Catharines.
While the cases at St. Alfred Catholic Elementary School have been deemed to be related, Niagara Region Public Health has not defined it as an outbreak.
In each case, the infected individuals are in self-isolation.
