Premier Doug Ford says it’s the small acts of kindness that shine brightest during these dark days.
He announced funding for community organizations in Niagara and beyond during his daily press conference today.
“We’re investing $11 million to help the Meals on Wheels program and other community organizations. That’s $11 million to help deliver food, medicine and other essentials to our seniors and those with disabilities.”
Ford also announced a substantial amount of money for developmental services, child welfare and victims shelters this afternoon.
“We’re providing $40 million to help these community organizations with COVID-19 related costs such as purchasing masks and gloves to protect those in their care and our frontline heroes.”
