Wildfire smoke from northwest Ontario causing problems again in GTHA
Environment Canada warning of deteriorating air quality in parts of Southern Ontario, including Toronto, Hamilton and Halton regions,
The weather office says in a statement, that smoke plumes from active forest fires in northwestern Ontario might affect portions of Southern Ontario today and possibly tomorrow.
The smoke can cause increased pollution and reduced visibility.
As well, Environment Canada asks residents to be on the look out for symptoms including increased coughing, throat irritation, headaches or shortness of breath.
