NRP seize loaded black Smith and Wesson 9mm pistol
An early morning crash on Sunday in Niagara Falls has results in charges against a 29 year old man from Hannon, Ontario.
Niagara Regional Police responded to a crash at the intersection of Lundy's Lane and Kalar Road around 3 a.m.
Upon arrival they discovered a white BMW stopped at the red light was suddenly rear ended by a silver Mercedes.
The Mercedes then drove around the BMW and hit a stone wall before coming to a stop.
A male driver and two females were seen running from the car.
A search by officers and the K9 unit located the suspected driver.
Officers seized a loaded pistol found hidden under the suspects sweater.
Allan Kenroy Mason is facing a slew of charges including failure to stop at an accident, impaired operation of a motor vehicle, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition.
He was being held in custody for a bail hearing yesterday.
