A sixteen-year-old St. Catherine’s motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Thorold.

A sixteen-year-old St. Catherine’s motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Thorold. It happened Saturday night near the Merrittville Speedway. The crash between a minivan being driven by a 41-year-old Thorold woman and the motorcycle is still being investigated. Another serious collision between a vehicle and a motorcycle closed North Service Road in Beamsville for several hours on Sunday night. The driver of the motorcycle and the passenger suffered life-threatening injuries. The driver of one of the vehicles left the scene. There is no description of the vehicle at this time.
