Lots of guys will try to grow out a beard for a moustache this month, to raise prostate cancer awareness.
Moustache Mania is an annual campaign here in Niagara, which looks to raise funds for Niagara Health's Prostate Diagnostic Assessment Program.
The program operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday's at the Walker Family Cancer Centre. It's designed to decrease the wait times for diagnosis, improve the quality of coordination of care and optimize patient experience.
A total of 694 patients visited the clinic in it's first year and 227 were diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Moustache Mania has raised over $65,000 for the program since 2014.
