The Ontario government is welcoming an investment of $12 million by Moyer's Apple Products, an Ontario-based agri-food processor and family-run business operating since 1799, to construct a new facility and increase production capacity, while creating 12 new good-paying jobs in the Town of Lincoln.

The investment was announced today by Sam Oosterhoff, MPP for Niagara West. He was joined in the announcement by Rob Foster, Acting Chair of the Regional Municipality of Niagara; Sandra Easton, Mayor of the Town of Lincoln; Adrian Dominguez, General Manager of Moyer's Apple Products; Vince Benincasa, President of Court Holdings Manufacturing; Mark Vanderveen, Past President of Court Holdings Manufacturing; Ron Brouwer, President of Brouwer Building Systems; Michael Kirkopoulos, Chief Administrative Officer of the Town of Lincoln, and Paul Di Ianni, Director of Economic Development and Communications at the Town of Lincoln.

Through this investment, Moyer's Apple Products will build a 69,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility in Beamsville.

"By supporting strategic investments from regional businesses, our government is protecting Ontario's workers and creating the conditions for a strong, stable and resilient economy that can weather any storm," says Oosterhoff. "This investment by Moyer's Apple Products will support growth and innovation across the local manufacturing sector and create better-paying jobs for workers and families in our region."

The provincial government has committed to investing over $230 million through its Regional Development Program to help manufacturers across the province grow while supporting distinct regional priorities.  To date, the province has contributed to more than 180 projects through the program, leveraging more than $2.6 billion in new investments, resulting in the creation of about 5,500 jobs.
