Sarah Jama cites a damaged reputation
Hamilton Centre NDP MPP Sarah Jama is threatening legal action against Premier Doug Ford.
She has sent a cease and desist letter to the Premier over what she's says "defamatory" remarks that imply she is antisemitic.
Last week, Ford posted a statement about comments she made about the war between Israel and Gaza and called for her resignation.
Jama's social media post called for an end to what she called apartheid in Palestine.
She later posted an apology, but didn't retract the original statement.
This comes as the PC party debates a motion that could lead to her being silenced in the House unless she apologizes again.
The letter is asking Ford to publicly apologize to Jama and retract his comments.
