Municipalities within Niagara are confirming the opening of outdoor facilities.
In Welland, the following outdoor facilities will be open tomorrow with restrictions.
- Tennis Courts
- Basketball Courts
- Gaiser Park Basketball Court
- Maple Park Courts, including Pickleball
- Lawn Bowling
- Sports Fields
- Skateboard (BMX) Park
No outdoor organized sports or recreational classes are permitted at this time.
Meanwhile, the Town of Pelham confirms that tennis courts, golf courses, sports field and the skatepark will re-open tomorrow.
The Town warns these outdoor areas will not be cleaned or sanitized, and users need to maintain two metres of distance at all times.
The City of Port Colborne has also announced the opening of some facilities, including the following.
- Port Colborne Historical & Marine Museum
- AlgoPort Skate and BMX Park
- Sugarloaf Marina
- Nickel Beach
- Centennial - Cedar Bay Beach
