The Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee is now accepting applications for this year's Jim Mitchinson Scholarship.
It's always presented to a high school student in Niagara Falls, but they have to maintain at least a 75-percent grade average and show their dedication to their community or school.
The recipients will receive up to $1,000 this year.
You have to apply online here before April 30th, but you will not be eligible if you are a MYAC member or a relative of a MYAC member.
Jim Mitchinson was a well known volunteer in Niagara Falls.
He passed away in 2013, and the scholarship is funded by his son Tom Mitchinson.
