Opposition party not happy with the decision to extend online learning for school kids through the fall
NDP Education critic Marit Stiles says "Our kids need safe classrooms, not permanent online learning."
Stiles adding yesterday's update from Education Minister Stephen Lecce shows the Ford Tories are just looking for ways to make online learning a permanent fixture, to save money off the backs of our children.
Lecce announcing virtual learning will continue to be an option for parents and students in September.
He did not say whether he anticipates a return to in class learning before school ends in June.
