Wayne Gates says the park has served its purpose
Niagara Falls' NDP candidate knows what he'd like to do with Marineland.
Wayne Gates says the park should be closed, and used for something else.
He made the comments during Leader Marit Stiles' recent visit to the Port Colborne Urgent Care Centre. "It has served its purpose as a tourist mega purposed site, let's bring in something different that doesn't include animals. As we know, we've had a lot of our whales die, we've had other animals pass there."
He wants the provincial and federal governments to safely move the animals somewhere else, and close the park.
