NDP Leader Hosting Greenbelt Town Hall in Beamsville

Town Hall will take place tomorrow night at Fleming Memorial Arena

Ontario's NDP Leader will be in Beamsville tomorrow.

Marit Stiles will host a town hall to discuss the province's plans for the Greenbelt.

She'll be joined by MPPs Wayne Gates, Jeff Burch and Sandy Shaw.

The meeting will take place tomorrow at 6 at Fleming Memorial Arena.

Last year, the Ford government announced plans to open up parts of the Greenbelt in order to build 50,000 new homes.

This is part of a plan to build over a million homes over the next ten years, in hopes of tackling the housing shortage.

Stiles has spoken against the plan, saying it's a betrayal of Ontarians.
