MPP Marit Stiles was the sole contender for the party's top job
The Ontario NDP is moving up a vote to confirm Marit Stiles as the next leader of the party.
Yesterday, the NDP held a meeting of its provincial council, and decided to hold the vote on February 4.
The vote was originally slated to take place in March.
The Toronto MPP was the only contender for the job.
She'll become the leader of the Official Opposition as long as a majority of the party members support her.
