The Weather Network out with their usual seasonal prediction
We officially welcomed Fall this past weekend and the Weather Network is out with their predictions for the season.
Forecasters say the extended periods of warm and dry weather we've seen this month will continue into early October, but a more abrupt transition to periods of colder than normal weather is expected next month.
There's even the chance of an early freeze and lake effect snow in the snowbelt regions.
However, much like last year a mild weather pattern could return in November and run through much of December.
The Weather Network is predicting near normal temperatures for the season as a whole.
