Man stabbed in face following altercation
A 28 year old Welland woman is facing charges following a stabbing at an apartment building on Niagara St. at West Main.
Officers went to the building after a man in his 20's showed up at a local hospital for treatment of a serious stab wound to his face.
Police say the victim was stabbed yesterday afternoon by a female neighbour armed with a knife in the building's common area.
Investigators determined the pair's relationship was a rocky one with numerous complaints filed over noise and other issues.
Police have charged Alysha Cyopeck with assault with a weapon.
