There's a new deputy fire chief in Port Colborne!
Mike DeGasperis will take on the role starting May 3rd.
He previously spent over a decade with Mississauga Fire & Emergency Services.
DeGasperis got his start in 2006 when he became a volunteer firefighter in Thorold.
He holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology from Brock University, and also worked as a Primary Care Paramedic for the Niagara Region between 2008 and 2010.
