Niagara Health making changes in light of Omicron variant
Niagara Health is changing its guidelines for Essential Care Partners and visitors starting today.
Patients will only be allowed one person at their bedside at a time.
Guests and Essential Care Partners will need to show proof of vaccination before entering the hospital.
There is no change to visiting hours or to how many people can visit a patient within a day.
As well, anyone coming to the hospital for an outpatient procedure can continue to bring a support person with them.
