St. Catharines has surpassed Niagara Falls to have the highest number of COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in March.
St. Catharines has reached a total of 237 cases, compared to 232 in the Falls.
Welland is third in the Region with 218 cases.
The three cities nearly triple the rest of the municipalities combined total.
Wainfleet has the lowest number of cases, with only five reported since March.
