The Niagara Catholic District School Board has launched a mentorship program to support black youth.
Together with TOES (Tools of Empowerment for Success), the "What They See is What They Will Be" mentorship program has been created.
The program is designed to meet the needs of black youth across specific industries and career fields.
These include data analysis, education, literary and the performing arts, and health and mental health.
Additionally, two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to post-secondary students studying any of the areas in the program.
More details on the program can be found here.
