The Niagara Catholic District School Board has issued a response after a controversial prayer was read to students last week.
On Thursday morning, a prayer in support of Israel was read to students at Saint Michael Catholic High School in the Falls.
The prayer asked God to protect Israel from those who seek to harm.
The board notes that a petition asking the board to stop such prayers, but says no petition is needed as the prayer was a mistake and didn't intend to cause harm.
