Niagara College students living on campus this upcoming fall will need to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
Students will be required to show proof that they have received at least a first dose of a Health Canada-approved vaccination.
They'll also need to show documentation indicating their second dose is scheduled or has been received.
Students who have been accepted to residence will receive an email next week with a link to provide their documentation.
Documentation must be provided by August 9th, and students are encouraged to have second doses booked by August 21st.
Students with extenuating circumstances may contact the college's Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services.
Anyone who can't get a vaccination due to disability or religion can apply for an exemption in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code.
