Ontario's colleges donate $200,000 to UNICEF's Ukraine emergency fund.
Colleges across the province are partnering to support a good cause.
Niagara College, along with 17 other schools, have teamed up to donate $200,000 to UNICEF's Ukraine emergency fund.
The money will help the organization provide safe water, health care services, medical aid, child protection and education in the area.
The donation also includes contributions from Colleges Ontario and the Ontario College Application Service.
"So many Ukrainian men, women and children are either displaced or living through the terrible situation in Ukraine," said Linda Franklin, the President and CEO of Colleges Ontario. "This tragedy has affected everyone on our campuses and created a strong desire to help."
Throughout the month of March, handwritten messages of support on blue and yellow hearts have been displayed inside both Niagara College campuses.
As well, the college's international division has provided mental health and financial support to Ukrainian students.
